Flu Information

Influenza (Flu) is widespread in New York. It is not too late to get the Flu Shot! Even healthy people can get the flu. Get vaccinated today!

We are still seeing a lot of flu in Oneida County.  The week ending February 10th, 87% of reported cases were positive for influenza A. The state saw a smaller increase in cases compared to previous weeks (only 7% more cases statewide the week of February 10th compared to the week ending February 3rd).  We’re hoping the peak of the season is near. Flu vaccination is still highly recommended and one of the most effective ways to prevent the flu.
