NOW IS THE TIME FOR A PEACEFUL RESOLUTION
Today, America wages a war to root out terrorism and prevent the horrific tragedies of September 11th from ever occurring again. Attacking the foundation of terrorism is not just the work of governments and armies. It is a challenge and a duty for us here in the Mohawk Valley.

LETTER TO GOVERNOR PATAKI - 02-02-99
Thank you for agreeing to meet today to discuss the most serious recent developments in the Oneida Indian Land Claim. Your personal attention and cooperation in this matter, and especially that of your staff since the December 8, 1998 filing of the proposed amended complaint by the three Oneida plaintiffs and the U.S. Department of Justice, are most appreciated.
LAND CLAIM SETTLEMENT NEGOTIATIONS - 09-30-99
"The settlement process is a confidential process. That process, including any documents submitted to or prepared by the Settlement Master, and any statements made during that process are for settlement purposes only, are confidential, and shall be treated as compromise negotiations under Rule 408 of the Federal Rules of Evidence."

TO ALL PLAINTIFFS IN THE ONEIDA INDIAN LAND CLAIMS - 12-31-98
We urge you to immediately amend your recent petition to the Court in this lawsuit to remove the proposed "Landholder" class or claims for "possession" or "ejectment" from this suit. We also write to urge all parties to find a way, once the private citizens are removed from harm's way, to get this lawsuit resolved quickly and fairly.
