  Program Description
  The Neighborhood Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency providing a wide range of services to children, adults and families in Central New York.  It has been serving the City of Utica and the surrounding community since 1905 and is presently structured in two distinct components:  Behavioral Healthcare Services and Child and Family Services.

The Behavioral Healthcare components is comprised of the following:

  • Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT)
  • Supportive Case Management
  • Adult Recovery Services (ARS)
  • Two Child Guidance Clinics
  • Day Services
  • Family Enrichment
  • Transitional Life Skills (TLS)

The Childcare & Family Services components is comprised of the following:

  • School Partnership for Youth (SPFY)
  • Case Planning
  • Youth Development
  • Career Development
  • Operation Outreach
  • Child Care
  • Day Care Registration

The Neighborhood Center accepts a variety of private insurances.  Medicaid will arrange an income-sensitive sliding-fee scale for those in need.

  Hours of Operation

Our clinics operate from 8:30AM - 4:30PM (M,W,F) and 8:30AM - 8:00PM (T,TH)
Day Care operates from 6:30AM - 5:30PM Monday - Friday
