TITLE:                          Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
                                     
Full Time and Part-time available

GRADE/SALARY:       22C–$25,080 Full-time,
                                                $12.05 Part-time hourly rate

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:    This position involves responsibility to provide routine sub-professional nursing care of patients in accordance with detailed and well defined policies, rules, and regulations.  In the Correctional Facility, employees assist a Registered Professional Nurse in the care of patients.  The incumbent performs related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Possession of a current valid New York State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

NOTE:  Verifiable part-time experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Possession of an appropriate level, valid New York State Driver's License at time of appointment.
