HOME CARE AGENCY COMMENDED BY COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND STATE

Oneida County Executive Ralph J. Eannace Jr. released information today on the Certified Home Health Agencies most recent inspection. The Oneida County Health Department, operates a Certified Home Health Agency, Certified Long Term Home Health Care Program/AIDS Home Care Program

The Home Care Agency provides skilled nursing and related services in the home. Skilled nursing professionals develop a total care plan, individually tailored to meet the needs of each patient. Barbara Campbell, Director of Patient Services, Oneida County said, "A collaborative endeavor between dedicated Nurses, Home Health Aides and Therapists and clerical support enable our home care staff to provide quality care to our clients."

In November the Health Department received an on-site visit from the New York State Department of Health, Office of Health Systems Management. The site visit involved a comprehensive review of Oneida County’s Health Care Agency’s day to day operations. The Certified Home Health Agency was found to be in compliance with all standards and conditions of participation.

Eannace said, "The Home Health Agency of the Oneida County Health Department is to be commended for receiving an extremely impressive "deficiency free survey". I applaud this agency as they continue to deliver quality care to Oneida County residents."
