America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk

On Sunday, April 26, 2009, youth volunteers from Family Services of the Mohawk Valley raised money for another worthwhile cause and walked in the Aids Hike for Life. The event offered the opportunity to combine health education with community service. For some students, it encourages understanding and tolerance for people who have a same sex gender orientation; recognizing that Aids impacts people with heterosexual orientation as well.
