Summary: Saturday April 25, 2009, youth volunteers from the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley volunteered their time collecting tickets and handing out brochures at the RiggieFest in Utica. Being in charge of the initial contact with consumers at an (the) event has a lot to do with the success and failure of the event. The youth volunteers competently handled their duties and the event was a major success. This initiative impressed upon the youth volunteers the positive difference their involvement made.
