Food Stamps is a program that provides supplement assistance to low income households so they can obtain low cost nutritious meals. Benefits are provided thru Electronic Benefit Transfer ( EBT ), which is used like a "debit" card.

How to Apply

Call 1-800-289-6737 (toll free) Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Provides a list of locations that do not charge a surcharge.

Dial 1-888-328-6399 (toll free) 24 hours a day 7 days a week for assistance on the following :

  • Provides dates of benefit availability and pick up
  • Balance in food stamp account
  • Authorize a PIN number
  • Deactivate a lost or stolen card
  • Processes claims by participants due to a discrepancy in food stamp account balance
  • Provide locator service telephone number
