Oneida County Department of Social Services offers day care assistance for recipients of temporary assistance who are working or participating in an approved training or educational program and meet the eligibility requirements. Day care assistance is also available for working individuals who are not receiving temporary assistance if they qualify financially and meet the other eligibility requirements.

Those who qualify for day care assistance are offered the option of selecting a provider from a list of certified day care centers or certified family day care providers. They may also select a friend, relative, neighbor etc. who can apply to be enrolled as an informal day care provider in Oneida County.

Those who are receiving temporary assistance in Oneida County and believe they may qualify for day care assistance should contact their employment caseworker at (315) 798-5015.
