Food Stamps
SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) is a program that provides supplement assistance to low income households so they can obtain low cost nutritious meals. Benefits are provided thru Electronic Benefit Transfer ( EBT ), which is used like a "debit" card.
Appointments for facilitated on-line applications are also available by contacting the following community based organizations (CBO's) for an appointment at one of their sites. Mohawk Valley Community Action, Inc. (MVCAI) at 315-624-0821 and the Central NY Food Bank at 1-866-839-7304. Once the on-line application is filed, you will receive an appointment for a telephone interview.
