Fire Closes Oneida County Health Department Offices

Offices Available by Phone; Services Still Being Provided

Due to this morning’s fire at the Adirondack Bank Building at 185 Genesee St. in Utica, the Oneida County Health Department offices located on the 4th and 5th floors are closed until the building can be occupied once again.

“We have made arrangements to temporarily relocate our Health Department personnel who were housed in the Adirondack Bank Building and will continue to provide services as normal,” Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. said. “The Health Department will also be available to assist the public by phone in whatever matters of concern are needed.”

The Oneida County Public Health Clinic located on Elizabeth Street in Utica was not affected by this incident and is operating as usual.
