  Program Description

The Addiction Crisis Center is a 25 bed (7 female - 18 male) Primary and Extended Care Unit that provides 24 hour a day treatment, 7 days a week, for intoxicated or persons seeking a safe environment to continue treatment outpatient or inpatient programs. This program is licensed and certified by NYS OASAS and staffed by RN’s, LPN’s, CASAC, Social Worker, and EMT’s. 


  Admission Criteria
  • The person is intoxicated, experiencing a situational crisis and/or suffering or is at risk of suffering mild withdrawal.

  • The person is unable to abstain without admission to a medically monitored withdrawal service.

  • The person is likely to complete needed withdrawal and enter into continued treatment.

  • The person is not otherwise too ill to benefit from the care that can be provided by a medically monitored withdrawal service.

  Treatment Services

24-hour nursing care, monitored withdrawal, assessment, referral, case management, linkage to outside services, interface with community services and psycho educational groups, certified counseling staff to assist with all needs related to the nature of addiction.




  Discharge Criteria

 After monitored for withdrawal and patient reaches goals of treatment - discharge to referral agency.

 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
