b. Saturday, October 5th, “U.S. Supreme Court and NYS Court of Appeals UPDATE” Prof. Vincent Bonventre, Justice Robert H. Jackson Distinguished Professor of Law, Albany Law. 9 am – 12 pm MVCC IT Room 225. Sponsored by the Oneida County Bar Association*

c. Saturday, October 26th, “2019 Criminal Law Academy” This day long program will deal with the new discovery and bail legislation. Among the featured speakers are Timothy Donaher, Esq., Monroe County Public Defender, Jill Paperno, Esq., Assistant Monroe County Public Defender. Matthew Alpern, Esq., Director of Quality Enhancement for Criminal Defense Trials will make a presentation on the ethical obligations of criminal defense attorneys under the new discovery laws. The program runs from 9 am – 4 pm at Mohawk Valley Community College, IT Room 225.

This program is sponsored by the Oneida County Public Defender, Criminal Division, an accredited CLE provider. Cost for the program is $65 including Continental breakfast and lunch.
