HIICAP: Health Insurance Information Counseling & Assistance Program
HIICAP is the New York State Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program. We offer free, confidential counseling and assistance with supplemental insurance, Medicare claims, doctor's bills, and problems with insurance companies. If you are unclear about your health insurance and billing, call us for an appointment.
The Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) Program is a prescription plan for seniors who need help paying for their prescriptions. You are eligible to join EPIC if you are 65 or older and have an annual income of $35,000 or less, or $50,000 or less if married.
